Is there a reason why there's no longer a link to the latest software download? How do I know when a new version is out?
Do you have a list of the new features?
I purchased the subscription directly from Seattle Avionics at their sun n' fun booth, so maybe I need to contact AFS directly. Seem likes the instructions should be posted somewhere though
I'd lake to take advantage of the "emergency land" function of Xavion through the iLevil and Vizion. Is there a passthrough that would allow me to send the output of the iLevil through the EFIS and...
Are there instructions for loading them somewhere? Thanks!
Any update on this? It seems pretty straightforward to have an option to turn off traffic. I want to be able to keep my ADSB without the scary and annoying "me" traffic target
In fact, given the current state of the traffic clutter, I would actually prefer to be able to turn it off. When I'm in an area where I receive all the traffic it's overwhelming and I can't read...
There are a few autopilot modes missing from the AF screen that would be nice to have. One is LVL to bring the aircraft to straight and level flight. It would also be nice to have pitch hold for use...
The ability to turn off traffic would be enough for me. It's really not that useful if you don't have ADS-B out. Another suggestion I would make is to merge traffic targets depending on the display...
I don't understand how that would work since I'm not transmitting any info. I don't know what an ICAO address is, I assume that is something you have with ADS-B out? I only have ADS-B in.
How do you eliminate it when you don't have ADS-B out? I fly in a busy area and am often close enough to other ADS-B aircraft to get everything. It's quite unnerving.
I don't know the details of all the models, I'm sure you can get the relevant information if you contact them directly. They are very easy to work with.
No, you need to use the serial port. The pinouts are listed on the unit itself.
It has a serial out with ADSB 115K. Also, depending on the map zoom level when you are in a very congested area (KPHX) the traffic targets make the map unreadable. I suggest that you group them...

I'll get back to you with pics as soon as I can
I'm seeing a ton of traffic targets that don't exist. What do you need from me to help debug this issue? Also, when there are a lot of targets together on the map, it would be helpful if you grouped...
I have a couple questions from your VAF thread http://www.vansairforce.com/community/showthread.php?t=107346
First, what devices are supported on the skyview network? I know Dynon's ARINC module...
Would the CWS button still continue to hold vertical speed? It would be nice to have both options.
The home page now lists this as a feature, is it enabled in the pre-release firmware?
I'm not sure I would rely on the ilevil as a backup in IFR. The ipad can be flaky sometimes and I wouldn't trust it with my life. I intend my app to be a supplement to existing EFIS systems, not a...
I'm currently working on an ipad app that will use ethernet and serial to wifi to export data to the ipad. You can also check out ilevil which will give you a secondary AHRS that displays on the...
To be honest I never thought about using it on approach. I like it because I don't have a stall horn, but I don't currently have a flap sensor so maybe I'll get it if I ever get around to adding one.
I just can't really bring myself to pay for a feature that is free on the D6 unless there is some technical difference. Maybe the AFS version is much better for some reason, I don't know.
Just FYI - the manual currently says winds aloft and lightning are available for ADS-B. This seems to be incorrect.
To enable ADS-B Weather press [MAP] -> [WX] -> [WX: FIS-B]
The various weather...
