Has the Test/Reset feature been implemented now?
Have just acquired a Guardian 353-201 CO Detector and it would be handy to not need to install a separate Test/Reset Button in the panel.

Talking 4500 boxes here.
I have the ARINC 429 cables made up. In doing my final cross checking I discovered that I had configured the ARINC Serial #1 GRD wrongly.
I had connected this to pin 2 of...
Hi Rob, Thanks for the swift reply. Much appreciated. Steve
Hi AFS,
I have searched the forum for this question but didn't find any hits.
My #2 & #4 cylinder EGT and CHT cables are much longer than required. I understand the differential metal...
I did some further thinking on this overnight and also read the "Developments" thread where Rob stated in May 2012 that AFS were developing "AF-Pilot On/Off and status" for the AF4500.
I also had a...
Hi Rob,
What does the AF Pilot Primary Serial In connection have to do with turning the AP on or off?
I'm guessing that you are going to be using the Primary Serial In line as the conduit for new...
Hi Bob,
I believe this is true. See post #4 in this thread:

where Trevor wrote...
Hi Dominik,
I am guessing this is a tip-up. I'm sure you have thought about this, but just in case, don't forget to ensure you have clearance for the canopy frame behind the top of your panel....
Hi Bob,
As I understand things AFS, you can interconnect (ethernet) all the units they currently produce, i.e. 5600/4500/3500/3400 but not 2500. (Remember that 3 units require an ethernet...
Tom,
From memory, I think you'll need to plan for pitot, static and AoA lines to the EE and EF units, but not the 3400MFD. The MFD just has the Ethernet connection plus a very sparsely populated...
Thanks very much Trevor,

Thanks again Trevor,
Hadn't spotted the new 7.1 manual. Now looks like this is the optimum arrangement....
On the AF-3500EE:-
- Serial Port #1 - Connect the Garmin 695 GPS (Primary GPS)
-...
Trevor,
Thanks very much for the swift reply,
OK, so my understanding was correct about a) MFD Serial Ports being usable and b) that Serial Port #2 cannot accept a GPS.
I also take it that...
Hi Trevor,
In an AF-3500EE/AF-3500sMFD setup am I correct in thinking that I can safely connect a GPS to a Serial Port on the MFD and have it function across both screens?
Here's what I am...
Kind of in the same category......

Hi Trevor,
Thank you very much. I'll watch this space.
Cheers,

Hey AFS,
Would appreciate your comments on the original request.

Steve Hutt
I don't think you currently offer this function.
Wondered if AFS would consider incorporating the display of EI timing data in the EM boxes ?
I appreciate that there are a number of different...
Hi Darwin,
In case it helps, here's a pic of my RV-7 (tip-up) panel under construction showing my layout for two AF3500's and a G695 in AirGizmo mount which is 6.25" wide. Here in the UK we are...
