430W GPS and VOR display

Does the 4500 allow for displaying both GPS (via HSI) and VOR (via pointer arrow) nav outputs from the Garmin 430W simultaneously?

It does not, you can only get one needle at a time.

However, if you have an external CDI also connected to your 430W you can have the GPS on one and the VOR/ILS on the other at the same time.
