Autopilot will not follow heading bug

I have your AFS 4500, TruTrak Sorcerer autopilot and Garmin 430W. With the autopilot engaged, the LATHDG button pushed, the autopilot will not fly the heading bug. The command bars on the flight director are yellow, but the airplane doesn't turn. Anything I'm overlooking?

    Thanks in ADVANCE

    What does it do?

    1. Is the Sorcerer ARINC wired to our AF-ARINC module?
    2. Is the Sorcerer in GPSS mode?
    3. Do you have the EFIS Autopilot Lateral ROLLGAIN set to something greater than 0? Start with .05

Rob, it doesn't do anything. I know it is not in GPSS mode, but I'll investigate the others.

The AP has to be in GPSS mode to work.
