    AFS-4500 Fuel Flow Discrepency

RV-8A with 250 hours. About 75 hours ago I noticed that the flow readout would not completely stabalize. It initially wandered about 1 gph, but since has gotten worse - up to 3+ gph - usually high. I now enough flight experience to understand that 8.0 - 8.5 gph will give me my target TAS of 150 KIAS. When I have mixture set to maintain 150 KIAS, fuel flow will cycle from somewhere around 8+ gph to upto 11.5 gph - with no change in RPM, airspeed, engine sounds".

When I refuel the Fuel Used readout is always higher than the fuel pumped into the tanks by an amount that roughly orresponds to the higher fuel flow readouts.

Anyone have an idea of how to fix this?

If you have an injected engine it really should be mounted in a stationary location in-line between the fuel injection servo and the distribution block.
