Geo referencing on charts

Am on a trip after getting current data to usb devices, am not getting geo referencing on charts but am getting my airplane showing on airport diagrams. I?m wondering if there is corruption in either hi res terrain or chart data. As a question wondering which file geo referencing comes from? I was in a hurry before leaving, had trouble with one of my usb sticks and tried copying from one to the other, that’s possibly where problem may have occurred?
