Thread: Fuel gauges are inaccurate and not consistent?

Fuel gauges are inaccurate and not consistent?

I have a Princeton older puck style sender (5 step not changeable). I recalibrated both the sender and the EFIS and didn't seem to change anything. The Adval shown doesn?t match a full tank.
The sender is 0-5 volts, I do have an inline resistor to limit the voltage to 4 volts.
In my setup menu I don't have an option to charge the sender style between float and capacitance is that because I have an older display?
    What else can I check?

After further testing, the voltage from the sender is not consistent, With both tanks having the same issue its hard to believe its the senders. I checked all the connections and recalibrated.
