    Fuel quantity calibration - Glastar

I?m having a time calibrating the fuel quantity in my Glastar (AFS6600, Float type sensors, on/off fuel selector (no way to isolate one side from the other).

Is it possible to reconnect the old analog display fuel quantity sensors and have the fuel quantity read accurately on both the EFIS display and the old gauges?

    Hi Alex,

When I calibrated my Glastar fuel senders I used a pair of vice grips wrapped in electrical tape to pinch off the rubber hoses coming out of the tanks at the wing roots. Then you can calibrate them individually. My glastar used blue flexible rubber lines down to the header tanks. I think all Glastars used a similar configuration to allow for the wing fold design.

Not possible to tee the same float sensors between two separate display systems. You must wire the sender to the EFIS / EMS-220 or to your old needle gauges, but not to both.
