MDA/DH - "MINIMUMS!" constantly alerting close to ground

This doesn't always happen but sometimes I get the MDA/DH alerts and I'm never flying IFR. I do want altitude voice alerts and I do set the altitude bug. I never set the Minimums bug. Recently this alerted whenever I would fly close to the ground. It is a constant annoyance. I can't tell from the manual how to turn it off.

I don't know why it is alerting now. Can I set it for -1000' below ground and have it never alert?

Hal the warning triggers 200ft above minimums bug. So as long as you're not flying around the Dead Sea, yes setting to -1000 will effectively disable all alerting.
