Is this the OAT data recorded inside the EFIS? or recorded directly from the sensor?
This data is recorded by the EFIS. Not sure how you could record directly from the sensor?

Yup, got it here, also. Sampling was every 5 seconds over a 25 minute time period while holding steady at 8,500'. Firmware version 8.7.10-MV15 on a single screen 4500EE. The spikes occur about every 150 seconds +/- 5 seconds. The data was extracted from an ALD file. I don't have any other ALD files from other firmware versions handy at the moment.
Interesting that your data spikes upward periodically, and mine spikes downward, Nelson. (I have 1 hour and 20 minutes of data, not a minute twenty seconds). My data is also from the latest software release, but I have noticed this happening for a long time (prior to latest software). Good idea checking the periodicity of the spikes. Rules out radio transmissions, at least from the com.

Try disconnecting the black sensor ground wire, I suspect that you are getting interference when you transmit on the radio. Also make sure the OAT sensor wires are not run with the Antenna cables.
