I'm re-running my battery test after a 1.6 hour flight - that should have fully charged it.
I know there were issues preventing it from shutting down properly before - hopefully they have now been taken care of.
Results next weekend!

Test re-ran and completed. This time, the test ran for 1:17 - significantly batter than the 31 minutes last time.
Sounds like that battery gets to hang around for a little while longer.

Does the 71700 battery have any "unique" connections that would make buying it from AFS a better option -- or will a 71700 battery from our local battery outlet work just as well? I can't find anyplace in the WebStore where the batteries can be purchased.

We provide a finished product that is guaranteed to work with the EFIS and it's charge controller. Other batteries may work.
I have also fixed the webstore to include the battery: http://advanced-flight-systems.com/w...p-battery.html
