Should I upgrade from X16.10.25 to X16.10.35 in my 2016 SeaRey?

Jonathon,

My current software is X16.10.25-MV.
Revision X16.10.35 has a complicated install process compared to previous revisions, and I am concerned that it is too complicated.

However the process or software revision seems to be linked to an AFS ACM or Dynon SV-ARINC-429 module?

I have neither. Would you recommend I upgrade?

Harold,
Yes definitely upgrade to the latest. The only complications concern 1) the need to change ARINC speeds for IFR navigators connected through an ACM or SV-ARINC-429, and 2) setup for the optional dual radio tuning through EFIS for installations with more than one com radio capable of being tuned through the EFIS. As your SeaRey has neither of these things, the sw upgrade for you should be a perfunctory affair.
