My 3500 does not have Synthetic vision
the clock seems to be good and then all of a sudden it loses time.
Is there a seperate battery and if so where is it situated?
Each gauge has a top yellow and red band and then a bottom yellow and red band.
Are you pressing save after entering the values?
1. Max (Top of Gauge) 1500.0
2. Red High At 1500.0
3. Yellow High At 1450.0
4. Yellow Low At 0.0
5. Red Low At 0.0
6. Min (Bottom of Gauge) 1000.0
These settings turn off the bottom yellow and red bands.
Rob thanks for that............very informative especially the diagram
If the Red High is at 1500 then surely i must make the Max (Top of gauge) higher than that say 1600?

I seriously doubt that you will ever see EGT temps over 1500, so why waste graph resolution for a range you will never operate in? If you leave it max at 1500 it will still turn red at 1500 and give you a warning.
The older AF-3500 EFIS screens without Synthetic vision have a clock battery under the small top cover.
Is the OAT working? without OAT you will not get winds.
Sorry I do have synthetic vision but just don't have 3D
Also don't have gps but I have backup battery
The clock looses time badly
Any ideas how to rectify this?
