Not sure what I need to do to get the clock to sync to gps? My screens will sync to each other to what the other screens show but I can’t get them to sync to a gps clock like I believe they’re suppose to. All gps functions are working.

I had a similar issue. Another symptom when time is off is that the save log function doesn’t appear to save files correctly.
It tuned out that I had a blown fuse on the backup power circuit. Once I restablished power on the back up circuit, time started to be set correctly and synced with the gps.
I found it, the coax connection from gps antenna was intermittent, I now have time and can offset Zulu time. Didn’t notice the gps flag, doh.

Just curious, how often and when does the EFIS check the GPS for time? My 5600 clock is getting slow compared to my GPS and is no longer in sync.

It constantly is checking the delta between local and GPS time. There is a 15 min delay to handle the epoch. The main issue with time as mentioned above is screens that don't countdown on backup power when shutoff.
