Yesterday I was out doing G-load tests in the -3B. During a 4.5 G pull
the AFS 5500 gave a warning message about a hard AHRS failure and
said a reboot was required. This message stayed on the screen
for the remainder of the flight, but the attitude indications appeared
normal.

Examining the recorded EFIS data, I found a momentary peak load of 4G
recorded and the AHRS status changed from 0x0000 to 0x0401 and
then immediately to 0x0001. When I landed, the status changed again to 0x0081.
After a reboot, there were no further error messages.

Is this the expected behavior?
