AFS k-factor value is just counts per gallon / 100. So if your k-factor was 30,000 on a Dynon system you should start with 300 on your AF-4500.

Is your transponder cable run anywhere near the ADAHRS or ADAHRS cable? If it is try pulling the transponder circuit, see if the problem persists.

You need the EMS-221. The ULPower ECU talks over CAN, not RS-232. The EMS-221 is necessary for the EFIS to read CAN.

Negative, this is only 5V on pre R7 AF-5000 hardware. For R7 AF-5000 and AF-6000 hardware, pin 1 is 8V to power SV-GPS-250 or GPS-2020 modules.
