    ADS-B compatible boxes

So at this date, what ADS-B manufactures units display ADS-B information on the AFS 5600?

Can the Navworx box be wired in such a way to display ADS-B data both on my 5600 and my G530/430?

AFS uses the display port and the 430/530 uses the TIS output on the NavWorx unit.. Unfortunately, Garmin changed things on the 650/750, so this only works with the older Garmin GPS models.

But to be honest with you, I would think traffic on a 430 just adds more clutter. Traffic on the AFS screens is really nice. Traffic will be shown on the EFIS screen as a yellow ball heading at you (HSI), on the moving map, and on the approach plates.

Thats a good question for NavWorx. The AFS will use the serial port and the 430 would use ARNIC-429. If the box can output both at the same time then yes. Let us know when you get an answer.

According to Navworx Yes, the 600-B can output up to three displays at the same time. You need the ARINC option to get traffic on the G530, but that option is not available with the 600-EXP which does however have the built in wifi.

Thinking of pulling the trigger on ADS-B in/out this year and wanted to see if there are any new units that you guys are supporting.

    Garmin?

Garmin is unwilling to share / and has protected against sharing their protocols to talk to their ADS-B solutions. This list remains valid.
