    Negative TFRs

    Howdy,

Running 2 5600s with GPS2020 and mode S for ADS-B out and the single channel ADS-B in box. I've got the 11/1/17 version of the software. I am not seeing TFRs on the displays even though there are some big ones for the fires in SoCal. I don't think I've ever seen a TFR on the map. Is this a known issue? I need it to stay out of trouble.

Email the system and serial port data log to ken@advanced-flight-systems.com

When you press the system log button on the EFIS that is wired to the ADS-B it should save the adsb serial port logs on the USB stick.

It looks like there is currently one large TFR in California.

I brought up the ADS-B info page and saw a list of 3 TFRs, 2 of which were listed as expired. They are 7/3555-1, which is the New Years Day Rose Bowl game TFR, and 7/3701-1, which is the fire TFR in Ventura County that I am looking for. The remaining one is the permanent TFR at Dizzyland, 4/3635-1. That one shows on my map. 7/3701-1 is listed to begin 12-12-2017 and end 02-12-2017. I'm guessing that is why it is listed as expired.

The gummint website lists it as 7/3701 with no dash 1 and lasting though February 12, 2018. It is still very much in effect. Is this the ADS-B radio transmission screwing up the date and causing to not display? How do I get that straightened out? At this point, I am assuming that it is not the fault of the EFIS' software.
