Jonathon, actually the AHRS was originally mounted next to the landing gear motor, highly magnetic. See the photo attached of the original mounting. We have tried every place where the current cable will reach. Definitely won't reach the inner wing. Can an extension cable be used?
You can see the wraps of white cable which we unwrap to locate it on the spar.
