    Ray Allen POS-12

I purchased a POS-12 to measure the flap position for the AOA to work with the AF-3500. The POS-12 has 3 wires. What do they get hooked to on the aF-3500?

Look at the EMS wiring diagram, it's on there. One wire is power, one is ground, one is position. If you don't have an engine monitor capable EFIS I think you're out of luck....

    Pin 2 - Trim Power

    POS 12 and AOA micro-switch

I think I read somewhere that with the POS 12 installed, there is no requirement to install the AOA micro-switch for flap positions. Is that a true statement?

Yes that is true. if a POS-12 is installed there is no need for the flap switch.
