Thread: Would like to see:

  1. #1

    Would like to see:

Still waiting for some features that would make the 4500 and 5500 more industry standard....
Would really like to see a "green banana" altitude predictor, also a bit less "twitchiness" of the flight director, to be more rate based.

    Gary,
Would like trend bars as well for airspeed, altitude, and heading.

    Rob,
Another one for your never-ending feature list...having the flap position indicator change color at different flap positions so that you can see the position more readily?

    Some additional ideas/thoughts

    Hi AFS,

I'd like to throw in a couple ideas I've had lately:

    - A "Home" key sequence. Something simple, like pushing btns 1 & 2 simultaneously, that returns one to their preferred screen layout quickly and efficiently.

    - Display the CTAF and WX freqs for the airport up ahead. Something even simpler might be to just list the two freqs on the map page next to each airport. I think this would be a handy aid when transitioning uncontrolled airports on cross countries. The current method involves a bit of button pushing and knob twisting.

I had a 3rd one but it escapes me at the moment.

The airspeed indicator is in knots and the VSPEED is in Feet per minute, how do you display 500 F/M on the airspeed indicator?
