    Flap Calibration Question

In calibrating the flap positions from the Calibration Page, what values do the numbers represent, in "flaps up" and "flaps down." Example, my 4500 came with the number "4" set in the flaps up and the numbers 1315 set in the flaps down. I'm trying to understand the linear relationship to the respective flap settings.

    Thanks in ADVANCED

    Hi Terry,

The values are related to the internal analog to digital conversion our units make. They go from approx 1 to 1600 with 1 being flaps up and 1600 being flaps down. So if you position the POS-12 sensor correctly, it should go in that range. Once you have everything connected, you can move your flaps all the way up, note the AD Vale, and copy it into the UP value. Repeat for DOWN value. The EFIS will then know what values are assigned to up and down.
