GTN 650 interoperability

With the GNS430W no longer being sold by Garmin, are there plans to support the GTN650/750 units in a similar manner?

My understanding is the GTN series are almost plug compatible to the 400/500 (W) series.

We have supported the GTN650 and GTN750 since they were released by Garmin. I replaced a 430W with a GTN650 in my RV-10, they are not even close to being "plug compatible". The GTN 650/750 use the small pins and even the GPS Antenna connector has changed from a BNC to a TNC. It took me 11 hours to change it and I have done a lot of installations.
