Hi guys,
I own an AOA Sport two years now, and I´m very satisfied. But a couple of months ago some of the leds, randomly, didn’t light on during pre-flight test and inflight. Look like a false contact because they come back to life and dead again absolutely randomly. The instrument itself seem ok, pass the preflight test and the inflight behavior is normal, just the “dead” leds do not light on. I have checked out connections on CPU and display and checked the flat cable but all seem ok. Where can the problem be?
Tks

Usually it is on the crimp or DB-25 ends of the ribbon cable. I don't think we have ever had a LED burn out. _________________ Rob Hickman

Hi Rob
Tks, I will check the DB connector. Leds aren't burned out, as I wrote they dead and back to light randomly, tipical of a false contact.
anyway I'll keep you informed.
